- Way to Grow– Way to Grow is a school-based program for all families with children between birth and five years of age in Grand Traverse County. Recognizing that school readiness begins at birth, Way to Grow offers a variety of resources to families cost free, including home visits, playgroups, parenting information, early childhood experiences, preschool information, and developmental screenings.

- Child Care– the state of Michigan will cover up to 95% of child care costs for qualifying families through approved child care providers. To apply and see a full list of approved care providers visit their website. You can find a provider that fits your standards, everything from small, in home providers to daycare centers. It is a good idea to call providers and interview them to find the right provider for your family before you baby is born.

- Father Fred Foundation– The Father Fred Foundation is a non-denominational charity providing food, clothing, household goods, financial assistance and HOPE to thousands of families and individuals in crisis living in the five-county Grand Traverse region.
