Birth Doula Services

For all Birth Doula Services I charge a sliding scale fee of $450-$750.  For this fee you will receive a personalized experience that may include:

• 2-3 Prenatal Visits in which we will discuss your plans and hope for birth.  We will discuss your hopes and fears, what you can expect, how to recognize labor when it is happening.  Early comfort measures to be done at home.  This will be time spent getting to know one another, building a trusting relationship and for me to understand how to best serve you.
• Unlimited phone and email counseling before birth and for up to 6 weeks postpartum
• Continuous information on community resources, general parenting, pregnancy, labor and birth information
• 24/hour on call 2 weeks prior to your due date, until your baby is born
• Continuous support once labor has started until 2 hours after the birth of your baby
• 1-2 postpartum visits including a meal to discuss any questions or feelings you may have about your birth.
• A copy of your birth story if you would like one
• A bundle of recipes to support postpartum and breastfeeding nutrition
• Access to my lending library

What I cannot do:

• Make decisions for you
• Give you medical advice
• Do internal exams or any other medical interventions
• Communicate directly with hospital staff of other caregivers on your behalf.

I require a $200 retainer fee upon the signing of a contract with me, with the remainder of our agreed upon fee due at our first postpartum visit.
